Topic: RE: Dr. Snyder, Insurance and Still On Track!!
Hi Yolanda!

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner!! School started and life just got in the way!

You did it the way I wanted to do it, have everything done and WALA! Schedule the surgery. However, when I contacted my insurance carrier SEVERAL times, no one ever mentioned the 6 month Dr. Supervised Diet.  EVER!! I was calling them in FEB!
Yea, I know.

SOOO I went ahead and did the -3- consults he wanted and met with him.  I am going to my PCP and keeping he and Dolly updated and sent them an email Wednesday!

2 more months of the diet and I am hoping a quick approval and surgery in DEC! Hopefully!!

How did your appointment go?!
I am so excited for you!!

Megan

Topic: RE: Taste of Colorado
I went to the Taste of Chicago back in June and it was a waste of money and time. Everything was iether fried or the tickets were to much for the anount you got. it was iether the neighbor hood pizza for the day or anything that was either rich, to much sugar and such.
I never been to the taste of Colorado but I have heard the same!!!!! I lived in Centennial for 24 years.
Not worth the time or money.

Hi Guys,

Is anyone going to Taste of Colorado this weekend.  I'm planning to... I'm 6 months out and figured I would pick one thing that is new and split it with the family.

I would think that they would see your plate that you had eaten off from and had a remaining portion.  They should be able to offer a small soup cup at least to take that bit home.  that would be a compromise to be able to take that part home.  That way they won't be missing out that much food, such as filling out an entire to go box.

I heard that golden corral will allow WLS patients get a plate and weigh their meals and only have to pay for what they got and not have to pay for a full meal trip when they will not be eating that much.

Ideas anyhow
